hi all
i bought some 'yang sheng' tea which is made from chrysanthemen in my local chinese store. its really nice stuff, quite sweet, much better than green tea! and the box says that drinking regular will keep me "happy and healthy all the day". Any ideas on what chrysanthemen is traditiionally used for? why u cant get chrysanthemen tea in the west even though we have lots of chrysanthemens in our gardens?

be well

Is traditionally used in TCM only for combatting colds and is not usually used as a general tonic, there other more effective herbs for that.

This herb is also good for clearing heat from the eyes. You can drink the tea and use it as an eyewash.
