It seems that the biggest problem with WC is the way information is passed out by teachers.I am sure most have us have been in a situation where you said wow i paid for this!
As an example the well known $3000 eye jab taught by a WC Master.
My own story was at a seminar featuring Do Fong Ling (not real name of course). He started the seminar with ,I am going to show you a secret technique that few know.I said to myself this should be interesting. One of Yip Mans top students is really going to share something.
The technique was how to use the cross hand motion from the form opening. If you are falling forward you use this motion to block a kick coming at your face.
Needless to say i did not pay for or attend the 2nd day of the seminar.
Any other stories out there? And no it wasnt LT.

"Sao gerk song siu, mo jit jui" - If you control the hands and feet, there are no secrets.

One of the reasons why the teacher of the "WC Master" you refer to carved it in stone 40 years ago was so there would be no misunderstandings.

I guess it didn't quite work out that way. ;)

Yes, do tell

================================================== =
The battle started with a grapple, he had real long hair so a grabbed a hand full, and chopped 'em in the Adams-apple, his partner in back of you tried to attack you, so I'ma twist 'em up like a pret-zel then I'ma tag you/I can't believe he wanna grapple again, I swung 'em around like I was dancing wit 'em, put his arms in back of his head and snapped 'em again, I fractured his limbs and put em in the figure-"6 subtracted from 10"...

Hello,

For those of you with any "true" knowledge the answer to WH's question has already been answered. Much like WH likes to mask things behind vague statements I figure he owuld appreciate this one :p

There is no need to mention anyones name in this post. The answer is already clear to those with any knowledge of the system represented.

Peace,

Dave

Ok, let me clear the air on this one. This is a common movement in polarity therapy/yoga and some reiki "stuff".

Imagine the body as three horseshoe magnets. The head is smaller and the two ends end near the trapeseus area. The second one curves down like the shoulders and the side of the body, with those two ends ending where the "kua's" would be.

The third forms the pelvis, with the two sides becoming the legs. These ends, one positive and one negative, in polarity are where the body can be polaritized through action of the hands/arms, for example.

When you have the hands down by the sides and cross them in front of the body, you not only cross the polarity, the accupoints on the insides of the wrists (pericardium) and outside (heart) line up with the lower dan tien.

The method for polaritizing the body is to cros and uncross the arms and open and close the hands, while facing magnetic north.

The two main positions are the down and up position that you see in wing chun and other martial arts. But you can sweep up and down the whole front part of the body.

Dont feel bad. Everythings fake in hong kong. Except for rolls royces, overpriced real estate and cognac. And even the martial arts apparently.

Man, you could have bought a rolex....

since i mention 2 techniques all i will say is that most know who had the $3000 eye jab.
As to the second all i will say is that this Master has many ardent followers and i do not want to have any nutz knocking at my door.He does reside north of the border though.
