Could anyone recommend any schools in China or Taiwan? I am looking to train in either country (or both) full time. A live in program would be ideal. No disrespect to Shaolin (I have the utmost respect for this style) but I am not looking to train in this style (anybody can join a shaolin school in china, it's easier than finding a school over here). I would prefer Ba Gua, Liu He Ba Fa or any sort of rare style (it's not neccesary for it be an internal style).

Thank you greatly in advance. Any help would most appreciated.

In China;

There is a government sponsoring program of Wushu and Tai Chi classes. You may check with Chinese embassy.

There are also many MA schools near Shaolin Temple in Songshan. You may search the website for info or contact embassy.

Shaolin Temple itself is more restricted. However, they may offer some classes, too. Check their website for info.

In Taiwan;

You may contact the Kuo Shu Club in National Taiwan University.

They have classes. Otherwise, they may direct you to the right teacher you want.

Best of luck.

Is Adam Hsu teaching in Taiwan? I seem to recall he was at one point. If so, I'd toss him a recommendation.
