Martial Joe - first day of school....

Well... today I went to school all pumped up and ready to fight any one who wanted some. But u know, I forgot how nice Canadians were/are. It might also be the fact that I grew a lot over the summer, I'm just about at 6 feet now and I’m bigger then most kids in my grade (10)... this sucks. It means the kind of punk ass kids that usual pick fights with out any reason are going to be afraid to fight me. And you know, I'm not the kind of person who likes to starts fights. So... this leaves me in kind of a dilemma... any suggestions?

Btw - martial joe how was your experience?

My first day of school doesnt happen till tomorow(the 5th)...

I dont go ready to fight,I am just there if one ever comes along and that person is serious they have found themselves a fight,but I never start anything unless I am protecting a real good friend(and I have like 3)...

Oh by the way I lost alot of weight...I havent gotten taller I am 5'7 and 1/4 and I weigh 129(i weighed 155-160 durring last year)But I have kept my strenth so now I am all cut and stuff...well its cool...

it is good that you dont go and pick fights..but why would you want someone to pick one with you. it is ALWAYS better to avoid a fight, then participate in one.

Sharky… Every time I go to Wing-Chun class I have to walk through the roughest part of my city from the buss stop I get off at. And some of the things I see happen there do scare the **** out of me.

So that’s why I want to perfect my skills at school where the worst that could happen is lose some teeth or get knocked out cold. This way I’ll be more prepared and cool headed if a real situation where my life could be in danger arises.

I admit I have not idea what the actual percentages are but how come when somebody dies in a schoolyard fight every one in the country hears about; yet when some one dies in a car crash it’s lucky if it makes it to the local paper.

Some one dieing in a car crash is normal? Or does it happen so often that seems as if it’s normal. However if some one were to die in a schoolyard fight people would be more interested because it’s so rare.

But then you could say-- Fights are more rare in general, so naturally people would be more interested.

And since I'm the kind of person who likes to have the last word and I’m assuming you’re of the same sort, I don’t see an end to this argument in site.

Lol, fighting at schools isn't worth it... you kick the **** out of someone then all his friends attack you. Or even better they run off and come back later with machettes and poles. I dont know if your schools are like this, but where i am from a lot are like this.
