I just caught this episode of the Proud Family (http://psc.disney.go.com/disneychannel/theproudfamily/index.html) where Penny goes to learn Karate. There were two schools, one run by an old blaxploitation star who sodl black belts, the other by a white guy using the old Karate Kid teaching method (paint the school, polish the car). Oddly, they called him "sifu". Anyway, it was amusing. My wife laughed at me constantly shaking my head. And I didn't think it was worthy of a new thread, so I just tacked it on to this one...
