Good job in promoting San Da in the country.

San Da is a government sponsoring program in China.

There are games locally and nationally.

The games are aired regularly on TV's.

They are promoted at all levels in schools and all.

Ima gona start the sanda system for training.

it will involve, kicking and boxing and occaisionally throwing someone.

we'll all wear cups, guards, head gear and thongs and we'll call ourselves, the artists formerly known as prince of san da.

then we'll eat muffins and throw the wrappers at the audience until we get everyone interested in the new way of fighting...just like the NBA!

I can't wait.

Oh, and I'll use a lot of Chinese names and stuff just to really pizz off the traditionalists. :p

the first DVD will be ready in a few weeks

Is it normal for San Da players to "continue to spin" if missing with the round house kick?

Isn't there a concern that the other will rush in at this moment? I'd feel over committed doing that.

"continue to spin"

woops there goes gravity, there goes gravity...or at least momentum.

anyway... you see this in K1, MT matches, TKD and others wherein there are plentiful high and dynamically charged kicks.

Ultimately, you want to come to solidity and facing after a failed attack, but, not evreyone can do that lickity split for whatever reason and teh momentum from their kick will on occasion pull them facing away.

Yes, this is a great opportunity for a rush. Although I would say that some fighters are aware of that particular leak and will have a tech ready for ya.

Yea, like the high spinning back kick that everyone makes fun of but a 220 TKD 2 dan almost broke my coller bone with two years ago.

different coaches will teach different methods, we usually spin out of missed kicks, not always, each person's strategy and strengths may be different

Kicks need to be SET UP, often I see a total lack of that, even among people who SHOULD know this...

DVD will be out very soon, cover is attached
