Lol @ him benching with his beanie and sunnies on. Again :). He must wear them all the time.

Re the lift - awesome. Again :).

Unbelievable. That is some crazy strength. Especially from such a small guy. :p

Here, I'll do it. Do you want:

1) Wow. He sucks. Benching in a shirt? How stupid is that? You're never going to have a shirt in real life. Shirts add like 20% on to your lift so he's not really that strong.

or

2) So? Can he fight. Benching 1,000 pounds doesn't mean you can shoot chi blasts. I bet [insert classical kung fu master's name] could kick his ass in 2 seconds.

or

3) So? I can bench 1,005 pounds cuz I'm so strong from doing 7809243987243987243 reps every day of pushups and abs. Oh, my back and biceps are also really strong from doing so many pushups. Everyone knows that high reps develop strength.

or

4) So? Who wants to be that big. What a stupid sport. I stick to machines so I don't get "too big."

:D

Yeah, I think last time was a combination of 2 and 4 with the occasional 3. Basically people weren't impressed :(. OTOH I reckon he's got good gung fu.

He proves that lifting weights hampers flexability. He couldn't even put his arms down. Did you see that?

IronFist

^ lol, I forgot about that one.

Thats retarded, this guy seems to have no muscle (cause hes fat) yet he can lift that, heh.

Oh yea, and thats funny that he couldnt even put his arms down, haha.

^ I can't tell if that's serious or not, so I don't know whether to laugh or explain.

I still think it's insane that the record bench press is less than 100 pounds away from the record squat.

anyone know the record for standard deadlift?

Does anyone know the raw bench record?

I've seen pics of Mendelson benching 700+ raw. I think the guys who can put up monster numbers like that generally don't care about a raw bench.

Strangely, tho, training with a shirt is different from training without one, and I've heard that as your shirted weight goes up your raw weight will go down, and vice versa.

Not exactly. The shirted bench requires much less pec strength. If your raw bench goes up, your shirted bench can go up or down depending on weather your tris got stronger or if it was just your pecs.

it would have been a funnier clip if he died at the end either real or pretending
