Can you measure the diameter for me? My new gym only has these Jade brand circle/triangle plates with the handles on them, and I want to see how big a real 45lb plate is compared to ours so that I know when I deadlift if the bar is sitting at the right height off the ground or not.

Maybe if I win Lotto. Ivanko are a bit out of my league.

I thought Ivanko were affordable and Eleiko were the expensive ones.

Just go measure one of your 45lbs plates and tell me the diameter and what brand it is.

Huh. Maybe you're right. I knew Eleiko were expensive and thought there was one other as well, which I thought was Ivanko. Turns out I was wrong (http://www2.paragonsports.com/Paragon/Shop?DSP=40000&PCR=1:101:1017:10191&IID=5128-O45). Anyway, there's your answer. Took about 30s with google, lazybones.

Or you could've gone straight to the source (http://www.ivanko.com/products/prd_text/R2B.html), for example.

Anyway, there's your answer.I still had google open when I posted though, and the next site down was the Ivanko site, which was more relevant than a reseller so I posted that link too.
