At my work I can't get to a lot of sites because of Websense. Does anyone know a safe way to get around it? I don't want to have to download any programs or anything.
I have a feeling that one of those websites where you can browse other sites from within that site might work, but I can't remember the URLs of any of them. Does anyone have any? Altho some times Websense blocks those sites as well.
One thing that seems to work sometimes is free translation services. You go type in the URL and say like "translate from Italian to English" so it will pretty much stay in English and then it will load that site from within the other site. The only problem with that is that it only works for one page at a time. As soon as you click on a link it takes you back to the Websense "this page filtered as 'tasteless'" or whatever screen. My test site for this has been Maddox's site, at http://maddox.xmission.com which is filtered as "tasteless." It's funny cuz if you go there Maddox wrote an article bashing Websense and blocked Websense employees from visiting his site. Haha.
Ok, so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
