Sorry if there has been a simular thread, Ive only been visiting this forum for a few weeks.

Ive started to use Protien powder after a heavy workout, just to help develop the muscels. I take 2-3 scoops a week.

Im just about to run out of 100%natural whey protien. This is the only type ive used and would like advice on what to try next.

At the mo, i have it with a pint of skimmed milk and 2 spoons of choclate milk-shake. It is worth getting the flavoured ones?

Also like to know what everyone else uses/ how much?

Myopure (http://www.myopure.com.au) whey protein concentrate and calcium caseinate. About 50-60g a day 1/2-1/2 in 2 shakes with milk and a tablespoon of honey sometimes.

The best protein is the one that doesn't come from soy (unless you like increased estrogen) or egg (unless you like your shakes to smell like egg f.arts, so I hear).

I've got vanilla flavored "precision protein" from eas. I mix it with either milk or juice.

Cheers, I think im gonna try the bars tho. There slightly more expensive, But i'ts easyer than mixing up a shake, as i usualy go to work after the gym.

shakes only take a few mins to mix up. you can mix it after you get there.

for a while, i used bioplex mrp (http://www.bioplexnutrition.com/bp/bp_nutrition_shake.html), then as my supply dwindled down here in houston (no nearby dealers), i started mixing it with bioplex' wpi. the taste of the strawberry banana was ok, but i made the mistake of using a shaker and shaking shaking shaking shaking shaking shaking then drinking. i assumed that the gutbusting going on was because the protein was bad or something or that the taste was just blah enough to make me sick. turns out that shaking causes bubbles! who knew? anyway, the bubbles made me blurby, and i associated that blurbiness with the product. toward the end of my supply, i stopped shaking and just mixed it thoroughly, then let it sit a moment or two to finally dissolve, then i drank up. much better.

currently i'm using this stuff, (http://www.gnc.com/productDetails.aspx?id=31952&lang=en) mainly because the local gnc had it on sale. i'll probably more of the bioplex mrp soon.

on a side note, i loved (relatively speaking, of course) the taste of these two, in order of preference:
1. abb's pure pro (http://www.americanbodybuilding.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=ABB&Product_Code=55620&Category_Code=PPS)
2. eas' carb sense (http://register.eas.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpItmDspRte.jsp?item=6446&section=10027)

both were a bit spendy to do in any quantity, but they were always handy.

Thanks for the feed back, Ive already ordered the bars, but I also gonna try some of the recipies i found in this forum.
