Chakras are in many styles. SOme are not real CHakras but still exsist along the spine and places.

Check out how similar the Dayan qigong posture at the very bottom of this page, is to Yoga
http://dayan.oompa.net/qigong-syllabus.html

And WKK's 18 Lohan hands are very similar to Yoga

Yoga

Qigong

All these styles have been kept very secret throughout history

Many seperate arts are related, I think this is a fact. Shaolin, eagle claw, and baji appear to contain many of the same techniques and strategies. Taiji even contains some of the same techniques. I find it unlikely to be a coincidence.

http://www.wongkk.com/general/videos.html

So over many styles it can be seen that they are in fact connected it would appear and there is no coincidence about it.

Whether Yogic, Taoist, or Buddhist cultivation, you cultivate the center meridian, going down inside the center of the body from hui yin point to Bai Hui point. THe energy goes out the top of the head and into two directions, left and right, going around the body like an aura or field, downwards back into the hui yin point and up the center meridian back out the top of the head again. This is cultivated regardless of whether qigong or yoga. It is very important, a fundamental principle in all three.

Just for the fun.

Wai Jia or externalists practice and cultivate Wai Dan or external exlisir.

Whereas Nei Jia or internalists practice and cultivate Nei Dan or internal exlisir.

So not all MA are the same as far as Qi is concerned.

So not all Qi gong are the same.

For example, when you do Ba Gua walk with Green Dragon extending claws, you practice Nei gong. It is the same posture pointing to the center.

Whereas, you practice changing 5 stances or Wu Bu, you are practicing Wai Gong.
