sai lop sau for initial block?

i heard to never use bong sau as an initial block. what about sai lop sau then? :confused:

The only time I ever use the Bong Sau w/ Wu Sau as the initial block is during a parallel-side entry technique (W.Cheung Style WC). Any other time is a no no for sure.
