Anybody on this board study Korean MA of Kuk Sool Won, pros and con. likes and dislikes.

i have been reading about them and they also incorporate animal forms such as praying mantis, tiger, crane, eagle, and snake, and some other animal forms.

I can't tell you about KSW in general, but I can tell you that any KSW in Sa Town isn't worth the money. If thats what you're looking for then you should just buy a cardio kickboxing tape...cause all your doing there is burning calories.

it's more for my wife and my daughter, i am assuming you had experience with one of the ksw in SA or know someone who has.

what about Soo Bahk Do in SA. i am searching for school, mainly for my wife and my daughter. since there really isn't any kung fu school except wing chun, so i am looking at tkd and other korean ma and japanese ma.

I left it years ago...You need to talk to kirk about your training. I left SD for him...worlds better teacher...worlds more applicable. I sparred a black belt from the KSW school in sa town. I was a white belt in Shuai Chiao and easily defeated him. Besides, you don't want to associate yourself with people who look as their master as a god.
