Does anyone know of any good books that cover martial arts and the law in the U.S.?

I would greatly appreciate any pointers that anyone could provide!

I'm not sure about any books. I was told that if you are a martial artist then you shouldn't be hurting people in fights more than is necessary, as you are trained, and the judge will throw the book at you. But I personally think that if you don't pick fights you'll generally be ok. If you are ever forced to fight, then don't worry about the law, put everything into winning your fight.
