I was checking out some new southern kungfu VCDs the other day and found these ones. The cover says Wong Fei Hung Nankuen, but the set names don't seem to be from Hunggar. Anyone know this teacher, and anything about his art?

At Plumb Publications they wrote some stuff about the style and forms but not the teacher doing the demo:

Wong Fei Hung's Southern Fist (http://www.plumpub.com/sales/vcd3/coll_wongfeihung.htm)

Thanks MonkeyBoy :)

That's a pretty interesting combination of arts he's doing.

Hmm... interesting.

I got the impression he was teaching Hunggar, but also had Wingchun and other southern arts in his repetoire. I think the "bridge rubbing" may be a hakka set from an art like Bakmei.

Thanks for the info

I've found that 90% of Martial Artists in China have done more than 1 and typically 3-4 different styles.

so it doesn't suprise me that this sifu knows
Hung Ga, Dragon, Lohan (looks like lama), wing chun, etc.

This has bee the trend for many years.

Remeber how HK/Taiwanese instructors used to frown on non asians doing multiple styles???? just look at them again today!!!
