I have had the opportunity to see the Corman version of the Fantastic Four. From the preview above, I prefer the corman version.

It's not so bad.

Lueb... they're using the "orginal" Thing. The original drawing of the Thing he had a smooth head like Chiklis. It wasn't until later that he developed that eyebrow.

Besides... 2 words... Jessica Alba... ;)

Any questions????

****! None of them look like the real (4). Jhonny's supposed to be a blonde kid, Thing should be bigger and his voice's all wrong, Reed looks too young and Sue is a married thirty something for christ's sake, not a ****ing porn star! I hate it.

Gee, maybe it's because I actually enjoy the real Fantastic Four storyline, instead of the Hollywood-sell-out version. The "Four" are supposed to be a family of superheros, not some photo op for Playboy. I don't look to children's movies for sexual fantasies, but if it floats your boat...

What makes Fantastic Four a childrens movie? And how do you know what the storyline for the movie is? Please explain how this movie is a 'sell-out-version' compared to the comics.. if you can

yeah u've already listed how ''different'' they look from the comics. Like the color of J's hair really matter. Or how the Things voice is wrong? wtf, u hear voices when you read comics? And about Reed and Sue, I personally feel it's alot more realistic with a pair of astronauts who are a bit younger than the middle-aged/old comic versions. How many middle-aged/old astronauts get's to fly? I dunno but to me these are just adjustments done to fit the big screen.

lol by the time u go through all the motions to become an astronaut you are middle aged.

i loved the FF cartoon. i think their design and voices were perfect on that. they should use that archetype for the movie. but hollywood will figure out sum way to **** it up guaranteed.

The episode of Family Guy that you got your sig from is on this Sunday, thought you might like to know.

I didn't want to make a big deal out of it by searching for a way to get in touch, and obviously I couldn't start a thread for it, so there you go.

While I'm here, I might as well comment. I am not excited to see Jessica Alba in this one. She was ok as Dark Angel, that dancing movie with her s0cked (I can't believe I watched it), but my jury is going to be out on this one until I see it for myself.

you know what though, If they can put a monkey in space, and if there can be such a thing as civilian space travel, which happenned last year, then why is it such a stretch of the imagination to have 4 or 5 young astronauts?

I saw the trailer when I saw Elektra. It didn't look too bad. I, like Samurai Jack was a little disappointed in Thing. I couldn't figure out what it was that made him look weird, except for the fact that he was smaller then I thought he should be. Of course so is Hugh Jackman for Wolverine. The eyebrow thing really threw me off too. I didn't realize what it was that seemed out of place until I saw this thread. Other then that, it doesn't look too bad.

I guess they went for the original design of Thing. I agree I'd rather see him with the eyebrows, they make him look angrier.

and civillian space traveling, I hope it catches on. Imagine what only 100 years from now would look like.. mindblowing
