most people posting smack on the internet claiming mma are not mma stylists but people who wished they could afford real training or had the patience and unlazyness to actually train, and instead watch ufc videos.

That was light sparring. it wasn't meant to be a full contact slugfest.

so those punches on top of the head were suppose to be and running around swing your arms against multiple attackers effective?

i m not talking smack and i m not claiming to be MMA. but videos like this, are poked fun by MMA. you ever heard of bullshido, they would have a field day with these clips.

by the way I got kicked off of bullshido and now they ban me every time I log in because I threaten them or something and I post stuff that ****es them off.

although i am not as terse as face2fist here i will side with him and agree that these vids do not really show a good representation of yi quan sparring.

these are beginners i would think.

the guy stopped the punch before contact but a hit to the top of the head will hurt if not give you a ehadache, hence why many traditional muay thai techniques involve a jimping downward elbow strike to the top of the head, they also do it in a funky matter by jumping on the knee.

in a real fight a punch to the top of the head is going to hurt as much as a slap to the face... especially when your adrenaline rushing

The hits on top of the head were pretty stupid. The rest of it wasn't bad for some medium sparring.

What I could make out from the two on one scenarios were a pretty good representation of how sparring against more than one opponent happens except for the fact that the two guys usually swarm and clinch the one guy eventually unless he runs away.

i believe the guy tappin the kid on the head was one of the Yao brothers. hes a well known yiquan master. and no i dont think its representative of yiquan. i think hes just play fighting with one of his students.

i wouldn't read that much into it. if someone gets close enough in your defenses to tap you on the head while sparring they pretty much own you for that split second. its not a stretch to think it could easily have been a strike to the face..... would you be happier if he knocked him out cold?

I also posted alot of prison crap and anti women posts just look my name up there as Strangler, KillerInstinct, Meravod, creep, Enforcer, FearlessAssault, RattenKrieg, MurderInc. and some others I can't think off the top of my head. But anyway that was no reason for banning me I was just expressing my opinion. I'm not shure if you remember me but I also posted on jet li forums as Mok and Miro.

And the reason they felt threatened because everytime they tried talking smack about something I would put a doubt or a reason a part if not the whole of their argument was flawed. And they ****ed me off so bad at one point I would even troll them and put pro muay thai posts against kyoushin karate and other styles making fyun of them. I posted a bunch of clips there that they didn't appreciate so I got ****ed off. And some of them tried talking smack so i cussed them out.

i jsut have to psot a comment on these two kids.

first couple seconds of the first clip i was like wtf? but the taps on the head. were a legit thing, he could have easily cracked the guy in the face. he did a simple block down and went over.

the 2nd clip, in real life, he would have got massacred by those two guys. he didnt try to move around to only take on one on one, he constantly stayed in the middle of them, which from a defensive of 1 vs 2 is a bad thing. your outgunnned.

Is it true that some yi quan guy was disqualified form sanshou in China because of using some fajing strike to send a guy to the hospital?
