New DVD Coming Soon!!!

Here is a “DVD Mini Trailer” of my student Nelson Marcelino,, in “Mathematical Analysis of The Wing Chun System”…
There is three clip’s,, just some of the footage from the intro of the DVD,, each clip loops six times… I will explain and give in detail the structure and technical color commentary of the clips,, because it’s only footage of cause and effect without the after math: (as far as falling out of the video frame and the “Mon Sao” position or the precursor of the actual attack. These time wasters were edited out.)… The footage is simple,, direct and to the point… Of course his natural speed… The clips are edited just as the way we think and the way we physically express the “Woo Fai Ching Wing Chun System”,, without all that extra bullsh*t,, nothing fancy;; just everyday Wing Chun…

Clip 1. “ Pak Da”,, with “Wing Chun” front kick,, forcing his opponent’s top triangle to react in a defensive structure using a “Woo Sao”… He attacks the Woo Sao” with an “Lin Lop Fon” and pinning with the “Lon Sao” while using a “ Wong Jeong” for the final strike…

Structures:
Wedging with “Pak Da” … Chumming with “lon Sao”…

Clip 2. “Biu Da”,, stealing his opponent’s structure with the “Square” (inside offensive structure)… Eye gouging with the left hand,, while jabbing the fingers to the throat with the right hand while using a front Wing Chun stomp kick…

Structures:
Wedging with the “Square” (inside offensive structure)… Chumming with the right “Fook Sao” …

Clip 3. “Tan Da” with “ Wing Chun” front kick,, forcing his opponent’s top triangle to react in a defensive structure using a “Woo Sao”... He attacks the Woo Sao” by jutting with the striking hand,, pinning with the right “Lon Sao” while hitting with the “Wong Jeong” on the jaw line near the optical nerve,, finishing with a finger jab to the throat…

Structures:
Wedging with the “Tan Da”… Chumming with “lon Sao”…

Sounds very interesting! I'm not much of a math "wiz", but I do know something about biomechanics. Unfortunately, I don't seem to find the clips when I click on the above. The second link just brings up a blank page for me.

Hi, excuse my disdane here, but the clips looked poor and hammy.
The concept 'the mathematical analysis of wing chun' would defnitely put most serious fight specialists off.
too long winded and over technical, the shapes and method of wing chun work well so go train against a hard resisting opponent and get good!
more WC commercial nonsense on how to sell the same thing, next your be advertising 'how to be an expert fighter in 3 seconds'. sorry to be scathing just my opinion.

Haven't seen the DVD yet.
But "disdane"(sic) and "serious fight specialists" sounds scary.

Gotta run as Jim R often does.

There are no "shapes" in Wing Chun, only motions. A shape will always provide a good point for the "hard resisting opponent" to exert his force. A motion will deflect his force and put us in a controling situation. But,we must first know about proper distance, lines and angles of attack/defense.

You are entitle to your opinion,, it’s always nice to have a "serious fight specialists" on this forum... With someone of your level we might learn a lot here… looking forward in hearing from you in your latest post,, take care...

Ali, what does Coming Soon mean? I'm stoked for the video and wondering when it'll be out? Even a guesstimate would be great!

Thanks,
Kenton Sefcik
