I would like to extend a warm invite to all my martial brothers and sisters living in Europe. I will be visiting Germany in the end of May, and Jochen Wolfgram Laoshi has gracious enough to host myself for a weekend seminar.
We will have a set date within a week (it will either be May 21-22, or May 28-29), and I will be teaching fighting theory and applications from the Meihua (Plum Blossom) and Liuhe (Six Harmonies) Northern Praying Mantis. This weekend seminar will be open to all ranks, styles, and levels. I will have all the final info shortly. Those in Germany can contact Mr. Wolfgram via this information:
Location: School is: Bai Lung, School for Martial Arts. Town: 49088 Osnabrueck, Baumstr. 12. State: Niedersachsen, Germany.
Address normally written down:
Bai Lung, Privatschule für Kampfkunst (school for Martial Arts)
Baumstr. 12
49088 Osnabrueck
Niedersachsen, Germany
Tel.: 0541/9989436

Those in the U.S. can contact me for more info. I hope to meet many of my European Mantis brothers. I look forward to this wonderful opportunity to share knowledge with those across the pond!

Cheers,
Mr. Jake Burroughs

Also, Hu Laoshi`s visit to New Mexico is still a go. March 5th and 6th right?

I also looking forward to this great opportunity! It will be another step for this mantis community especially here in europe!

I will keep the community updated about the progress of the seminar!

And of course it is a great pleasure to host a seminar with a well know and highly skilled Mantis Shifu like Jake Burroughs!

Yo Jake,

Danny's really excited about you coming over. I plan to go to Europe in June but will be in England. I plan to visit Paolo in Norway though. Danny's supposed to be visiting AK in June so you better teach him well. I'm gonna throw a hungry Pug at him as soon as he gets off the plane to test his skills.:p

Peace

Whats up bro? I try calling and no one is home?? I thought the revolution had begun! When are you going to get your scrawny ass down mainland way?
I will do my best, but I am not sure Danny is prepared for anything other than a grunt pug. Go easy on him, I think he is a non-believer!
I will email you shortly.

Cheers

Hey Jake,

Wish I could make it down to Germany. Finances won't allow for it this year though. We are planning to bring Sifu Kurt Wong sometime the end of the year or beginning of next year. But will this be a yearly thing? If so, I would love to attend a seminar with Hu Laoshi.

I am not sure if it will be yearly (I hope). If all goes well..... I am also hoping to make some connections over there and possibly some other groups/schools/countries (maybe closer to you) will want to host me sometime in the future as well. As for Hu Laoshi, I am not sure if he would want to travel that far to teach a seminar, but one never knows.
Thanks for the support bro, I miss all you guys!

Cheers

We are working out some scheduling snafus, but I promise to have set dates NO LATER than March 1 2005. Thanks again for all the support, this is proving to be a great get together!
I have been asked what I will teach, and I was thinking about a weekend on fighting techniques and theories from Mantis (obviously) covering all four areas of combat (shuai / na / ti /da). But I am open to suggestions..... for those coming what would you like to see? I am not sure when (if at all) I will be invited back to Europe, so I want to ensure that the majority of participants learn what they would like.
Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers
