Combat Shaolin

I somewhat agree with NS on his review but let me clarify a few things

The book in question covers the BSL (Bei Shao Lin or Bak Siu Lum)two person set that Master Lai Hung teaches.

They show the set and then break it down to the applications.

I felt a bit misled by the title. It has Master Lai Hung on the cover and I figured that it would have his insights on fighting with the BSL and CLF he knows. If that was the case it probably would've been an excellent book sice he was a full contact champion in the Tai Gan Au (Taiwan, HK and Macau) tournaments and also fought Thai and Cambodian fighters in full contact bouts.

It's a decent resource if you study the specific style (BSL) or if you're interested in two person sets. Otherwise I would not recommend it.

I was wondering if anyone read the new book called:
Combat Shaolin by Gary Tang, Al Loui & Brian Klingborg. What's your opinion of it. Is it an in depth manual with practical applications or just another book with surface material.
