I know there was a thread on this about two years ago, but it's been awhile, and there weren't many posts. Has anyone tried this? How was it for you and what were the results like?

It's a cyclical ketogenic diet, right? Like you go for ketosis for e.g. 4-5 days then flush your system with carbohydrates for 3-2 days? I like the philosophy since it fits in well with the Western working week. My book reference indicates it works well, even to the point of not having to count calories or care about what type of carbs you take in on the loading phase. IMHO it doesn't fit my training schedule and I'm getting (got) good results on my modified diet anyway so I haven't tried it. If I wasn't doing so much cardio stuff (HIIT and MA) I might give it a go.

Pretty sure Christian Thibaudeau used an Anabolic diet in his t-mag article - search around for that.

i dont know what you mean with anabolic diet...
is there a new fashionable diet that is being called by that name?
in truth anabolic diet would be any diet that makes you have... more anabolism (gain weight), while a catabolic diet would do the oposite...

oh ****, my russian ex talked me into that crap a few years back. It was rough. At one point, around 2 am I was driving home from her house and I literally saw donuts dancing in front of my eyes, it was sick!

i want even gonna bother, but just cos im pizzed off right now

id like to take and apreciate the moment to diss however the marketing mother ****er who decides to name his diet "the Anabolic diet". That mother ****er sold his soul to the devil and is enjoying his filthy capitalit pig face ass marketing ******* desiers today, but the devil will eat his balls in hell when the punishment time comes.
Cos there are many ways to have diets who make you go (mainly, or a lot, or very) anabolic. Exemple: EAT A LOT, MOTHER ****ER, REALLY LOT - that will make you give you some good amount of anabolism, for example.
Me eating all the candy around here have made some mean anabolism this last couple o months.
Whenever you gain fat or muscle -> thats a process of anabolism. But of course, also remember it doesnt mean your catabolism has ceased -> since whenever your body consumes or uses energy it is doing catabolism.
Both processes of anabolism and catabolism be happening on our bodys at all times, its the thing called metabolism
metabolism = anabolism + catabolism

Now, after the release of the "Son of a ***** diet" and others i will realse the "**** face mother ****er and die diet". Probably none of you will do it since you wont find it on any magazine or ****ing newspaper or ****ing tv advertisement.

This is the only Anabolic Diet (http://www.taipeitimes.com/images/2004/05/14/20040513182936.jpeg) that's ever worked for me. It also happens to be my favorite diet of all time because it's awesomely effective yet fun and delicious.

Now if you're trying to lose weight, the above diet also works as a Catabolic Diet (http://www.firstfoot.com/fc/images/vomit.jpg) simply by increasing the liquid intake and very dramatically decreasing the amount of food.

..this is a similar kind of thing in a compressed state, and seems to work well for a lot of fighters.

I went on the one that was described on T-Mags' website. I got very good results. But you cannot stay on it for long. Not healthy and expensive as hell.
