Well, i don't know if it's a set from any style really. I've seen that form done several times before ,i think it's a standard Wushu longfist set.....

I could be wrong ,but i've always seen it called Chang Chuan Longfist ,so that leads me to think it's a standard Wushu set.

I think the demo is the Wushu form.

Most moves are used across all schools of Long Boxing.

Somes moves are in Yeng Qing Quan or Min Zhong Quan.

There are tornado kicks and cartwheel etc. There are also a 360 degree leg sweep. Shaolin Long boxing has a lot of leg sweeps. Jump kicks, or Er Qi Jiao. Stamping foot and fist hitting palms. Or Zhen Jiao Zha Quan.

For the most part, there are common moves across many schools of Northern Long Boxing and some Shaolin.

Pure contemporary wushu Long Fist. Not a lick of martial in the entire set.:p

That's the old Wushu open-hand competition compulsory form.

If it is the old compulsory then a good chunk of the techniques are taken straight from traditional and are very "martial". Can't speak for this particular guys performance though... file is too big to download :p

Old compulsory was created from an athlete's individual form whose main style was Zha Quan.

Thanks guys. I was sent this set (Different performer), was told it is a Tai Tzu Set. After lookin at it my first impresion is it had some modern additions to it. It's common for Tai Tzu guys to send me modified versions of forms. I useually try to get the same set from different lineages to see where the mods are, but in this case I wasn't told which set it even is.

Yes;

All newer northern long boxings evolved from Tai Tzu.

Tai Tzu is the father. Tong Bei is the mother.

Correct, Well Cha fist too,but...

The issue I have is I am looking for pure Tai tzu, like Ming dynasty,or as close as I can get. I want authentic Tai Tzu, not a modern set that reacently evolved from it.

I have enough to keep me busy, but I've come to enjoy continualy looking into it and researching. So when I make a contact, I allways try to get them to send me as much as I can so I can compare to what I already have.
