Ok, on top of spielbergs version coming out this summer and a british version that is supposed to be more true to the book, apparently there is a version coming out based on the musical that was put out many years ago (I still have my records and recently bought it on CD. It's hopelessly '70's but I still enjoy listening to it form time to time.

they are all different versions of the same thing, ones a modern interpretation, one is closer to the book, and the third is based off a musical that was put out in the 70's.

war of the worlds musical??...... um is it anything like the planet of the apes musical in the simpsons? :D :D :D :D
