Hmmm. Well, the Hung Kuen book is not rare. In fact it's still in print (vol.s 1 & 2) and goes for about $12 per volume. And though the Leo Fong Choy Lay Fut book is out of print, it's not very rare. Second hand copies usually go for $5 to $10.

MMk I reset the Hung Kuen book. However, the CLF book, I purchased that about 3 years ago at this one shop (where I get most of these). Never found another one since. I visit 2 each week in my town, 2 more every other week, and 3 more when I feel live driving an hour each way (and no guarantees). So I never found another after visiting 7 shops.

What's hilarious though is the Sport of Judo book I am going to put up (as soon as E-Budo comes back) I found 2 copies of the same book, both out of print, within a couple months. Though the first one I found was an original 1955 printing.

374.00 for that white crane book??

why it really isn't that good a book, just a continuation of the other staples books.

True I didn't find my copy here in that states but in the Phillipines :)

You don't like the WC book? I think it's one of the best, clearest technical introductions to a kung fu system that I've seen.

I wouldn't say it's a "continuation" of his other books either. It's actually the first book he wrote and the one which covers the basics the best. His Hop Gar book is good, but if someone doesn't have any MA experience, they wouldn't know how the techniques are actually done. The White Crane book is more step by step. I guess I like it because it's well-organized and very clear as well as the fact that it discusses the Chinese medical aspect of things as being an important part of the martial arts.

But yeah, it sometimes does sell for crazy prices. I have more patience and perseverance than cash though, so I managed to get all of my copies (4 of them) for no more than $5 to $12 each (took a few years of searching though).

That's where I get all my book information. Though I think one of Staples (Hop Gar or the Tibetan one) I couldn't locate on there.

I also found 2 more books, both Japanese though that are good. Each one was listed for like $150 on that site.
