I don't understand why all the nutriders are saying "Wow, looks good, can't wait for the book". IMHO it looks ghey and the book cover says nothing at all so it wouldn't make me want or not want to buy the book. Well, actually it would make me not want to buy it because that picture is sooo wrong.

On a side note, I'm doing some fairly heavy isometrics lately Andy62. You'd be proud of me :p.

Yeah, I'm doing some heavy "virtual lifts" with Ironfist. Just the other day we were weighing trains, and you know those are wicked heavy. I can't get him into the cardio-fisting though... he's afraid he might lose something.

Hello Andy62,

I read on one of your links that you have the Bullworker Gold. How does it compare to the original? I ask because I emailed the Bullworker people a few years ago. I spoke about the original intention behind the design of the Bukkworker and I told them that the X5 really did not compare to the original when it came to resistance. I asked that they improve the resistance. While they did not say they would, it appears that they have listened.

Mickey, I do have a Bullworker Gold and I think it is great. I have used a Bullworker on and off since I got an old green handled one in the 1970s. I think it is the most under rated piece of exercise equipment on the market. The Gold does appear to have higher tension than the X5 although it maybe that my X5 is older snd has lost some of its tension. The Gold represents a positive upgrade to me and I am glad that I have one although a lot of the upgrade is cosmetic. John Peterson, the author of the upcoming isometric book, closed the Bullworker Gold in a front press on the first attempt which is a tremendous feat based on the link below. Andy
