When I do SLT real slow, The bottoms of my feet start hurting. Anyone else with this problem and what did you do to help this?

there are a couple of reasons:

1. Your feet or I should say that your ankle is pronated meaning that it means that ankle falls inward towards the center line. Stand tall in the mirror bare foot and look to see if your ankles are neutral, pronated, and supinated? One ankle may be different from the another.

2. Your may be a flat foot and no support from your arches can cause pain when you are in your ma stance.

3. You may have a bone spur at the heel. The bone at the end of your feet may have rubbed togther to much from shifting left to right in ma stance practice or walking?

4. Get better gung fu shoes or find shoes or foot supporters that corrects one of these problems. If all else fails, see a foot doctor.

Thanx for the advice guys, I'll definetly make good use of it. I do got flat feet and when they start hurting it takes away from my concentration.
