This post (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/forum/showpost.php?p=593776&postcount=416) by coach David Ross struck some bells.

... he asked us if we wanted to learn any black tiger?

The only "problem" he said, was that he can't teach publicly because he belonged to some "social organizations".... yup,

The whole vibe wasn't what we wanted to get into, so we thanked him politely and left.

About a week later, some guys from one of the "social organizations" riddle mr Wu's car with bullets...

That is precisely the sort of stuff that constantly led me OUT of TCMAThis is why my parents never let me and my brothers learn kung fu when we were growing up. Too many negative associations.

Ironically, to me at least, the spread of Chinese martial arts to non-Chinese practitioners has removed this stigma IMO. Of course there are still some idiots out there who insist only Chinese sifu have "da real deal".

When practicing Kungfu, make certain your pants are on and your tong isn't showing. :p
