I'm not sure if this has been posted here (sorry if it has). Just saw it today, and it's pretty awesome.

Harry and Salty would definitely not approve of that kind of activity.

It's funny how the one guy got mad when the other guy connected, considering they both were aiming for that region.

Now that is truely a cock fight.

that's been around for a while but still makes me chuckle.

you would think with all the shin conditioning these guys do they would get a leg up instead of shooting their butts up. lol :D

or you would see some of the strange postures exibited by some Kung Fu players.

I don't get this one  . I'm (also) a Muay Thai fighter (like these guys are) and groin attacks are forbidden in Muay Thai matches. I think this is just a made up match for the commercial. Pretty funny stuff though. :D

Um, yeah, groin attacks ARE forbidden but do you think they never happen? Obviously these two had some bad intentions between them and each was seeking to pop the other one in the "fellas". Not an uncommon thing in Thailand. I saw that quite awhile back but yeah, it's still funny.

lol, I'd never seen that before.

Except that it was an ad for viagara

Well, it was Viagra using footage of a Muay Thai match for their ad. And a smart choice it was too.

IMO the 'fight' is staged for the ad.

Yes it is clear that the fight is just made up for the commercial. Pretty funny stuff though :D.

That is just simply classic.

kudos to viagra for keeping the "crazy ass fly in my head thai music" as part of the soundtrack.

I am not sure it was staged for the ad. It looks like those guys had a beef with each other and were actually gonna make an attempt at a plaster the nads move.

dunno though, could be I guess.

I keep going back and forth on it, wondering if the fight was staged or not. It's so ridiculous...but truth is stranger than fiction, lol.

So at the end where the guy has caught his opponent's foot and is smacking him in the face, and his opponent is more concerned about his nads than copping a bunch of uppercuts to his face ... that doesn't look staged to you at all?

Waidan

Yes, it does. But many of the earlier scenes look very spontaneous and genuine. If I was to guess, I'd say it's staged, but it was done very well :)

No doubt about it. It looks very good, and one of the funniest things I have seen in a while.

I'm sure it was just staged fight, for a couple of reasons. Like I said I'm also doing Muay Thai for a couple of years, there aren't many rules in Muay Thai but attacking the groin is one of the things not allowed. Even if we assume this was a match just for the heck of it, note how they try to knee each other in the groin but do not follow up with a kick when they miss. If I was in the ring and miss a knee, I would still expend my leg and finish with a kick - right there. How easy that would be in this case? These guys don't do that, they just put their legs down again.

Don't they wear steel cups? Wouldn't it hurt if you kicked a steel cup?

X-Warrior

We wear hard thick plastic cups, no they don't hurt once you train your shins. Like I said, pro Muay Thai fighters actually kick wood and iron poles - full power - to further harden their shins.
