This thread is inspired by TCB's Yin and Yang thread.
Now that the chatter box or pandora box is opened.
The 5 steps or Wu Bu are equivalent to 5 elements or Wu Xing. They are metal, wood, water, fire and earth.
The 8 Jing methods are Peng Lu Ji An Cai Lie Zhou Kao. They are equivalent to 8 trigrams or Ba Gua.
Any thoughts about the theory?
Their representations are important to study the rules of changes, too.
Not only there are Yin and Yang.
There are also Wu Xing and Ba Gua in Tai Chi.
