Can anyone recommend a TCM (or holistic/herbal) remedy for seasonal allergies (hayfever)? I'm not sure which specific pollens I'm allergic to, I'm just seeking a broad spectrum remedy, if such a thing exists... Any help would be appreciated.

What I've done is increase my vit. C to 4000-6000 units/day, along with Astragalus. Astragalus is an super immune booster herb native to China. It seems to have helped.

Thanks for the advice, I'll see if I can track some down. I've increased my Vit C daily dose as well. I also found a SISU supplement that uses grape seed extract to prevent histamine reactions.

Hello I have allergy problems sometimes (I live with 10 cats!!)I regularly rinse my nose with lukewarm saline water. Also I like to use Wasabi or something spicy it helps drain all my mucus out.Another thing is I avoid drinking or eating alot of dairy products and drink plenty of water.Garlic is another herb I use regularly as well as Ginger on occasions.

Ummm....wouldn't boosting the immune system have the opposite effect of making your allergies worse?
