Hi All
I absolutely hate being sick because i hate to go a day relaxing and not trianing. I think a recent sickness i just got over was prolonged due to me going to lion dance practice and a performance we had, as well as practicing at home. How long should you relax after being sick before going back to working out? do you gradually increase to your old level? Any input appreciated.

You dont' need a calendar, a spreadsheet, and a stop watch to practice kung fu.

Work up to your capacity, and when you feel that you are beginning to overdue it; stop. It's as simple as that.

You'll be surprised how quickly you're back in the saddle, and if your mind has been in the right place, better than before.
