If you start to actually care about whether a 'real' lightsaber takes 1 or 3 batteries, it's time to chop off your package and donate it to science cuz you won't be needing it anymore.

It doesn't take batteries. *Everybody* knows that a real lightsabre is actually a plasma generator with a magnetic 'bottle' to contain the power. They don't pass through one another because they're the same polarity.

What a dumb article. :D

A lightsaber is like a sword on steroids. Cutting through any human limb -- even an entire torso -- is trivial. It's like cutting through a banana with a machete.
Who the hell needs chi when you have a lightsaber?

Duh! Because you can't use a lighsaber without chi. Everyone knows that.

Alright dude, you are a certifiably authentic real-deal nerd for even coming across that one. You will be receiving a certificate with the oficial Gold Seal containing the scene where Buger wins the belching contest in Revenge of the Nerds.

Jung ma
The term jung ma is used to describe a maneuver used by Jedi to perform a 360-degree spin in which power is gained for an imminent attack on the opponent.

Does Shaolin Do Teach Lightsaber?

No, but Ashida Kim has a manual out on the swordsmanship of the Jedi. So he claims to I guess. ;)

I can't believe none of you are aware that you use The Force to power up the lightsaber.

(I am actually enough of a **** to HAVE a lightsaber... and yes, I have done sword forms with it!)

Bullsh1t. It's powered by the same Diatium battery used in blasters. The focusing crystal creates the saber effect.

The Force is used to control the weapon during combat, because it is essentially weightless and therefore very dangerous to wield.

If the Force was used to power the blade, Solo couldn't have ignited Luke's to cut open the Taun Taun.

I can't believe this site is filtering out the word "D0RK".
