So Gene Ching just passed me a letter we recieved that included a phot of a painting of Bruce Lee; done by a Jack Terrible (http://www.jackterrible.com/index.html). His website has a gallery but does not include this particular painting, or photo there of.

I'm tempted to scan and post it here.

this does sort of bring up a larger question about the martial arts as a subject in artistic medium. Do movies and TV count? How about comics book?

There's the whole other aspect where Calligraphy and paintings are done by martial artists. We just ran an article about a martial arts master who's also a Photographer (http://ezine.kungfumagazine.com/magazine/article.php?article=598).

But what about non martial artists depicting martial arts?

How about storyboard/comic book artist Steve Strose who drew the story boards for the matrix (http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1557044058/ref=sib_dp_pt/002-5548478-4872020#reader-link)? Some how that seems different to me than a portrait (more or less) of bruce lee.

Should I post Terrible's?

perhaps I should post the one I did for the magazine (http://www.martialartsmart.net/kf-bruce-lee.html) waaaaaaaaaaaay back in '96 or 97?
