What is Green Cloud CLF?

I think there's one person here who might be able to answer it. ;-).

As far as I know Choy Lay Fut came from the Chan Family in King Mui Village so where does this "Green Cloud" come from?

I only know of three branches King Mui Hung Sing, Futsan Hung Sing and Bak Sing

i believe its more or less CLF mixed with Lama. The sifu who created it, Jyu Chuen, who was one of Chan Tai San's sifu's learned CLF from Chan Koon Pak I believe and incorporated some principles of other styles he had learned most notably lama pai. The name came from the monestary he came from.

Sifu David Ross would have the history better but I think this is it from what I recall.

In reality, Chan Tai San never used the term, it was just Choy Lay Fut to him, we started using the term because our line has some differences from the other lines...

Jyu Chyuhn was a student of Chan Koon Bak, but was probably influenced by other styles he learned. Add to that the fact that Sifu Chan tai San also had other CLF teachers, including the famous Chan Sai Hung.... our CLF was a mix....
