I am looking for a doctor that knows how to manipulate mucles and joints
Years ago I knew someone that could heal sprains and stains w/ deep
tissue chinnese maso therapy and accupressure.
Iwas wondering if anyone knows of anyone that does this in the Long
Island NY area.
Sone one that specialises in it

Hi Yeshe,

you should do a search for an osteopathic physician who specializes in OMT. I am not so familiar with people on the East coast. If you were on the West coast (mainly California) then I would be able to give you some really good recommendations.

cheers

You could try a manipulative therapist. Or a sports therapist. They generally are trained in all that is required for that type of healing and probably even covered under your health care insurance plan. Or you could search for an unlicensed practitioner and take your chances which is likely not covered and who knows where they are at.

I don't trust unliscenced "healers". If they really cared, they would do the due dilligence to get their certifications and training as opposed to "i learned from my dad" or some such other thing. They are also not accountable for any errors they may make.

Something to consider.
