pardon any mispelling of that.

I was taught that wai gong was a very physical/external method of chi development. As in, a lot of physical movement (arm flapping, waist rotation/bending, etc) that forced the blood and lymph into specific parts of the body....hence also forcing chi into those areas as well.

Nei gong, in contrast, was a softer method w/ very little movement if any where the body is put into a specific posture and then the mind is doing the work.

is this correct?

close?

bull****?

TIA

ok, so it seems a past teacher of mine did a little creative interpretation of the terminology.

as subtext to 'qi gong' i feel it sort of fits though.

thanks.

any more input from anyone else?
