I can't find it right now, but Barrett has put out a new improved semi auto sniper weapon. It's 25MM... that's right... 1 inch in diameter, shoulder fired, 5 round magazine. :eek: :eek:

It's the same caliber as the cannon on a F15 Eagle & most Soviet aircraft.

The ad was talking about lethal ranges of 2000 Meters.

well who ever is on the recieving end of that rifle wont need to worry about spending any money on armored transport...wont be of any use.

techincally Pangquan that's not an antitank rifle. The .50 cal sniper rifle was designed for a couple of purporses. First the larger round has more velocity and penetration power at greater ranges so you can kill people better, ****her out. It's also designed to penetrate and defeat light armor. A couple of well placed shots may take out something like an APC, but more likely you'llbe shooting to stop lighter vehicles like choppers, jeeps and other soft skinned vehicles. It's extremely efficient at stopping technicals in third world countries as well.

ppl ride elephants as well in the third world. not so easy to take down an elephant imho
