Hi Fu-Pow,

“There is an exception to every rule!!” is a rule!

If this rule is true, than there is an exception to THIS rule too! Therefore, there is at least ONE rule where there is no exception! But where there is ONE rule without an exception, there is the possibility of other rules without exceptions too!!! Therefore, “There is an exception to every rule”, cannot be a rule, and is therefore a false proposition!!

Just being a smart A$$!!! :D

I was bored and had nothing else to do!! Thanks for occupying me for a moment or two!!! ;)

All generalizations are wrong. No generalization is compltely true.

I generally agree with this thread and any thread of this kind is generally, well......general. :D

In the begining, there are no limits, nothingness or potential to be something. It is called Wu Ji.

When we say something, an argument or set a limit, there will be 2 parts or Liang Yi or Yin and Yang.

The things pro argument are Yang. The things contra argument are Yin.

The things within the limit are Yang. The things outside of the limit are Yin.

Yin and Yang are borned together. They separate and interact with each other in a Tai Chi way. When one is stronger then the other is weaker and vice versa.

In the extreme of one side, there is the seed of the other side.

I just generalize everything in a Daoist way.

Tai Chi consists of Yin and Yang fishes with the eye of the opposite color.

The problem with generalization is generalization.

 :D

The lovely thing about Quanta, you can never be sure about anything....except what you're unsure about!
