I was looking for some opinions on Wai Lun Choi and Mike Patterson. Can anyone here recommend one of them over the other, or compare them?

On another note, has anyone ever heard of, studied, or had any experiences with Yi Li Chuan (one form boxing)?

One is in Chicago, one is in southern California. Any specific comparison you want to address. I personally know that Choi is one of the treasures to be found teaching martial arts. Meet him and you will know why. I'v heard good things about Mike Patterson too but I haven't ever been formally introduced. I have talked with some of his students and it sounds like his would be a good school however Choi is a true master with a complete and pure background. He has backed it up through teaching and fighting and would be a great choice, given the opportunity, for a teacher.¿
