You gonna make the argument about the 5 or so kungfu fighters out of hundreds of fighters who actually made a little headway in the ufc?

It's a lame duck argument, but there have been a couple of fu guys who have actually stepped up and gone into that level of fighting. Good for them. I personally would like to see more of it in the future.

I think you will. I have this premonition. Once the western generations are in the place of the elderly teachers and have a generation or two under them, I think you will start to see more actual kung fu fighters.

There is much less of the withdrawn attitude being developed by the next wave of masters.

Personally if I had started my martial arts training at a younger age I would love to be in heavy competition right now.

I know when i have another 15 20 years under my belt and begin teaching seriously I will have a direct goal of producing kung fu fighters.

I hope more people share my vision and goals in developing the type of fighter traditional kung fu is possible of creating.
