Yes. Physics and human anatomy/physiology.

In one of the video clip, the guy pushes down the opponent's arm with one hand while the other hand moves upward to hit her chin.

It is a balance move of using both hands at the same time.

It is called Kai or open.

It is always a balance game of body movements, steps, postures, and arm movements.

The opponent's linear forward Jing is deflected downward or neutralized and away from your mid area. It is called Cai.

The pushing upward Jing is called Ti (elevation) or Ding (pushing upward). You may use the back of the wrist, or open palm with the root of the palm to hit etc etc.

Physics of body structure, balance in movement and power issueing are always there in Kung Fu.
