Vid of Hu XILIN throws

Well I remember that there were suppose to be some vids of Hu Xi Lin laoshi put up and jake ok'd it but I never saw any posted. So here's some quick vids of hu xilin doing some throws at his seminar in akron. I'm fooling around with my editing software on the computer and added music since the vids were recorded without sound originally. Sorry the vid quality isn't good, I had to record it off of the tv. Enjoy.

This one is hu xilin working on myself and mantis22, actually the first fall I took where the vid pics up I landed on my back rather hard and I had a hard time walking for the next couple of days. That was a simple fall with no force put into it. I'd hate to bounce off of the concrete full go. :D

Thanks for sharing such fascinating stuff. I really appreciate that. Shrfu Hu's open sharing is great inspiration to us all. I wish I could made it there. Now, it seems I have missed out big time in seeing a master at work (not that I didn't know I was missing out already!) :(

Man, Gary Chan took one pretty bad fall in particular, where I don`t see how he recovered.

Yeah when I get hooked up to record vhs to hardrive I'll re do it with sound. Because that one sounds nice when he hits the ground. :) Those wood floors are great for echoing your pain. :D

October 22-23 2005 he will be at Steve Cottrell's school in Ft. Worth, and then the 25-26th he will be in Albuquerque NM. doing evening seminars. Both seminars will be different material so those who want to come to both will benefit greatly! I will also offer discounts to those that attend both. Each series of seminars will be about 8 hours of training with him.
Hope you can make it. If not the next time I come back home (Ohio) I can sneak over your way if you are interested.

Well those vids were shot almost a year ago now, so I've been working on it, I'm not ready to reveal my new body just yet. It's very easy... go to putfile.com and it has a browse button for uploads, just browse your pc for what vid you want to upload (I think there is a limit to the size upload 10 megs?) then below that click audio/video and agree to the terms and that's it. After it uploads it will give you the link to post where ever you want to, each time you go to putfile.com, what ever computer you use it shows what you uploaded. It's free and easy, and supports a ton of codecs etc. Hope that helps, pm me if you need me to help you walk through some stuff.

Well my camera saves in mov file, but the software that I have is for windows... So I have to convert the mov files to mpeg so I can work with them with my windows software.. :rolleyes: pain in the ass...

Actually yes it does save in mov file.. up to 10 meg for video files

I suggest watching them @ 320x240. They are progressive downloads, so they will begin playing once there is enough of the movie loaded to play to the end without stopping and buffering (you should see a white line proceed in front of the gray playhead) .

I'm sending you a CD with all of these clips in QT and .mpg format. I'm also including QT movies that you can embed on your webpage if you feel like it. I made a master movie (for viewers with fast connections) and several alternates (for viewers without fast connections). Quicktime player figures out the highest quality movie your system can handle and then shows you the closest match. See you in October.
