How do you measure the efectiveneness of what you train? Do you watch tournament fights and keep asking yourself if you XYQ would work? Take a look at these videos, they are real fights cought in camera. Once you have finnished, ask yourself once more: "Am I on the right track?".

I don't know whether the intention of those videos was cautionary or to encourage people that martial arts could overcome those situations. But what I find slightly disturbing is that the original source for these videos thought this was funny.

Those are quite messed up.

I have to admit, the last one actually did get me laughing a bit. The first two were stupid though and I agree, all of them should be in jail right now.

What about the first video? I'm guessing that a good front kick would have saved the guy having a shirt pulled over his head.
