Last weekend I almost got into a fight at a pub.

I don't even know how it started. All I saw was one of my friends having words wih some dude and then the next thing I hear is that the guy is waiting outside with 5 of his friends. So the four of us head outside and see what's up.
BTW, none of the guys I was with train in wing chun just in case you were wondering

Long story short, they said it was a misunderstanding and left. :confused:

I'm glad they did because it could have been messy on too many accounts. They were actually the smart ones and we were too stupid to back down.

I always think about things after the fact and I realized that it was probably our intent that caused them to backdown. They were quick to spout off a threat by getting someone to come and tell us that there was 6 of them outside and when we came out right away, all of a sudden it was over.

Anyways just thought I would pass this story on about intent, and how if you apply it to your training the same can happen. If your intent isn't there, then your not going to be able to pull off whatever it is that your trying to do.
