Hello all,
I've recently sparked an interest in the internal arts, specifically Xingyi because from what I understand, it's attitude and it's hand/body structures are based on fighting with the spear, and the shaolin art I study also claims that.
I'm hoping some practitioners can answer a few questions:
What attributes of the spear are most present in Xingyi's mindset?
How does the spear translate into hand methods?
What effect of the spear translates in body methods?
Thanks!
