Greetings,

I received SPJ's free book on Bagua. I think it was definitely some kind of undertaking in trying to bring forth the characteristics of 8 different styles of Bagua. What I really enjoy is the structure of the book. It harkens the term "Wen Wu" because it offers both the scholarly and the martial, a time when balance and excellence in both were appreciated; and because it also remembers the time when martial arts practice involved both hemispheres of the brain, resulting in an integrated learning experience. From that point of view, I think the book is outstanding.

Thank you again, SPJ. It was and will continue to be a great experience in understanding the methods of transmission of martial traditions as well as a very nice sharing of the Bagua traditions that you were exposed to.

Hi;

I was searching thru the web.

I was amazed by the speed of the flow of info on the net.

My book was only just out.

It was already cross referenced by the french encyclopedia defining the Gua.

Greetings..

Anyone willing to share their hard-earned knowledge has my respect.. in this era of tightly held "secrets" and voodoo mysticism it is refreshing to see genuine sincerity in the transmission of knowledge.. Aside from the liberal doses of wierdness on these forums, they have been excellent resources for broader experiences in our arts.. SPJ has been a great contributor along with others as noted previously.. So, in the spirit of the season, i offer my humble thanks to the those that have added value to my own journey..

Thanks, and blessings..
