I still have the injuries, new and some old.

CMA practice has helped me to move and step in a balanced way all these years.

Most of my teachers in the 70's and early 80's passed away.

In the 21st century, I am grateful to many teachers.

As a student of several styles, the journey is most of the fun.

Grateful to the forum masters and sponsors.

Grateful to the internet.

what or who do you thank for?

This is a good post for today since it is Thanksgiving day. I agree with everything you said SPJ. Martial arts have helped me to move in a balanced way also, and I too am grateful for all of my teachers past and present, especially my current Sifu. I am also grateful for this forum and some of the other kung fu forums around the internet.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Will power, I only realised recently how much will power training martial arts has given me.
I always thought that i just had a screw loose and couldnt accept not achieveing what i wanted to.
But i only realised it about a week ago, that im like that because of the amount of times i was told in my head to go the extra distance during training, to block out the pain and do it.
That reflects in my life and i guess with all thats gone wrong in my life the reason i didnt just lie in a ditch and take it like that, is because of my martial arts training.
