Ok, First, Gene if you take this at all seriously I get a cut...or at least another 10% off at TC.

Anyway...

We need a calendar.

Nominations for who gets which month should be posted below.

Even if Gene doesn't want to pick it up I know Ming Yue could put an 'unofficial' one together for us.

LOL at the first list.

I'll pass, thanks though. I hate taking posed pics and I'd have to be last as the camera would break.

But, seriously, I think it's a great idea. I'd buy one.

and we'd need to somehow incorporate the annual 'Best of...' into it. Maybe January would start off with a montage of all the avatars of the 'best of' or something.

btw, 7*, shouldn't you be starting that thread soon?

I did this with another outfit of artists before and it went over well in the community.

We put it out as a downloadable pdf and it had various artists and their work.

anyway, it is a good idea, but bringing it together and getting it done is going to be the hurdle.

yes. it would be difficult to manage paper publication by Jan 1.

If we got Gene's blessing then I think we could manage a .pdf version for this year to be distributed freely and then see if KFM would do a paper one for 2007.

We could do print-on-demand calendars at lulu.com... it's easy, just get 12 JPGs, pick a format, upload and voila. They cost about $11 each.

Sorry, can't resist to post Miss Ma Qi Tun kingdom and Miss Italy in Shaolin temple.

The thing is that you may see the differences in picture one.

The blade should face forward and be placed above the left elbow, so that you are "covered" or Yen Zhou.

The model is using one hand to hold the whole blade and no supports from the left elbow. the blade is facing upward, ooh may hurt herself.

etc etc.

...you know me. Reduce, reuse, recycle. ;)

BTW, these 2013 Tai Chi Spirit Calendars (http://www.martialartsmart.com/b-ymc13.html) are printed on FSC certified Mixed Source paper, which comes from a combination of well-managed forests and recycled materials. They also plant trees to offset their impact on the environment.
