I'm personly very sceptic to the legit-factor of this style..

Some company was selling Stav videos a while ago. It gave off "not-legitimate" vibes. It also gave off "made up" and "really s.hitty" vibes.

Link (http://espytv.com/stav.htm). There's a clip to video there, too.

I'm no Nordic martial arts expert, but this pretty much looks to me like someone took some stuff that may or may not be effective and added Nordic names to it.

yeah seriously, it looks like chop suey of ****.

there is documentation on norse fighting arts but it was mostly weapon based/ military tactics, concentrating alot on sword/sheild (sp?) and axe. it's also beleived Glima or something simmilar to it (stand up wrestling) was a popular training method. other than that it was the hard village labour I guess.

nah, if one is interested in that culture there's tons of books on the subject. but if you wanna learn how to handle a staff ( :D ) why not get it from a legit style.. there's alotta staff in many japanese/chinese systems.
