Hmmm ... I received my copy from Amazon right before Christmas. Maybe preferred customer status explains it, LOL.

The inner workings of Amazon seem only slightly less complex than the quantum states of nano-circuits and the reasons husbands persist in feeling that, one day, they will be right in a discussion...

The book's official publication date is Chinese New Year, however they have been ready and shipping since the beginning of Decemeber. Amazon has thus decided to list the availability from 3-4 weeks, 2-3 days, not at all, and now 24hrs.

Amazon advises that people are hesistant to order when there is limited availability, so apparently 24hrs. is ideal :) (.ca is still at weeks, and very helpfully advising one and all to check back in case it goes out of print..., and .jp still has me listed as Reni, bless them, and I can't read Japanese enough to fill in their helpful correction form...)
